Outdoor and field growing
The same platform that monitors your indoor tent will manage soil moisture and irrigation across an outdoor field. Nodes can be deployed kilometres apart without WiFi. Rain forecasts and solar data feed into irrigation decisions automatically — so you don't water before a rainstorm and you don't stress a crop during a heatwave.
Agronomist programs built in
Every crop has an optimal environment at every stage of its life. We are building a library of programs — developed with South African agronomists, validated on real South African grows — that load directly into HortiNode. The platform follows the program. You focus on the crop.
A platform that gets smarter
Every reading from every node is stored and timestamped. As more growers join, that data becomes something no foreign dataset can replicate — a picture of what actually works in South African conditions. HortiNode moves from reactive to predictive: not 'your pH is low' but 'your reservoir will need correction in six hours.'
Solar and load shedding aware
HortiNode reads your inverter and battery state and makes automation decisions accordingly. Run the lights when the battery is full. Protect your reservoir when the grid drops. South African conditions are not an afterthought — they are a design requirement.

We are growers and builders who decided to fix that. We understand what it means to manage a grow through a Cape Town summer, through load shedding, through the gap between what your crop needs and what you can actually give it. HortiNode is built around those realities — not despite them.
We are at the beginning. The first nodes are validated on real hardware. The first pilot growers are coming on board in June 2026. Everything after that gets built with the people who are actually using it.
